Get your tickets for ‘A Nutcracker Dream,’ an exciting collaboration with the SFA Music Preparatory Division. Join us for this community-wide evening of music and dance while GSD dancers perform to selections from the timeless classic “The Nutcracker” played by SFA’s Music Preparatory Division on Tuesday, December 10th.

The orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Gregory Grabowski, SFA’s director of orchestral activities, brings together students, faculty members and alumni of SFA’s School of Music and Music Preparatory Division. Joined by ballet students from Gobel School of Dance, a mesmerizing musical backdrop will whisk you away as the orchestra brings Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s iconic score to life.

Additionally, pre-show and intermission performances by students in the Music Preparatory Division’s piano, strings and choir programs will feature enchanting holiday classics, adding an extra touch of holiday magic to the evening.

Proceeds from ticket sales go directly toward scholarships for SFA’s Music Preparatory Division students, providing approximately $10,000 in scholarships annually. Let’s support music in this community, especially for our youth!
