Olivia Dean

Creative Movement & Beginning Ballet Instructor

Olivia is a sophomore at SFA studying Early Childhood Education, and she is an RA in Steen Hall. She is an officer for the SFA swing dancing club “Swingin’ Jacks” and is always excited to share her love of dance with others.

Olivia has been dancing with GSD for 12 years and has been teaching beginning ballet for GSD since 2021. She has trained in ballet, jazz, modern, tap, and hip hop. Her favorite ballet roles have been Cinderella in Cinderella, Rothbart in Swan Lake, and Princess Anastasia in Sleeping Beauty.

Outside of ballet Olivia has been involved at Lamp Lite Theater since the age of 8 and has been in 25 shows. Some of her favorite roles have been Violet in Willy Wonka, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, and Hero in Much Ado About Nothing.
